History:-
I found very interesting story of this temple at saswad.in. It tells that, this Sangameshwara idol is constructed by Bhima(2nd son of Pandu).

Mandapa :-
As you steps in mandapa, you will see very big & nicely decorated nandi. Nandi is lord shiva's mount. Nandi means "joyful", disciplined animality kneeling at Shiva's feet, is the ideal devotee, the pure joy and strength of Shaiva Dharma. Ganpati and hanumana idols are also there.

Maha-mandapa:-
Inside the maha-mandapa you can see tortoise figurine. Lotus is curved on the back of tortoise. Lotus is symbol of perfection of beauty, associated with Dieties and the chakras. Rooted in the mud , its blossom is a promise of purity and unfoldment. Tortoise is Narayan avtar (one avtar from dashavtar of lord vishnu) which appeared at the time of samudra manthan.

Garbha Griha:-
Shivlinga and old style diva are at the centre of Garbha Griha. Diva's soft glow illumines the
temple or shrine room, keeping the atmosphere pure and serene. The standing oil lamp,
symbolizes the dispelling of ignorance and awakening of the divine light within us.

Walk Around Temple:-
You can see garden type view at north to the temple. It feels pleasant and very calm, to sit here at afternoon in summer.
Khadkeshwar temple is located at south direction of the Sangameshwara. The surrounding area of temple is not so clean, which impacts on first look to the temple. But please visit this place once, you will love the architecture and everything.
